The doctor is very knowledgeable and has experience caring for the elderly working with memory patients. The general staff also provides patients with individual attention and personal care. The unit holds monthly meetings for families to update themselves and learn more about memory care and the different stages of the aging process. They are informative and allow family members to share experiences and observations as a group. I would recommend them, but everyone needs to understand that there is an initial adjustment period during which staff and families need to adjust. The venue is assembled in pods, so there can be different experiences in different pods. They promised a lot and never stopped delivering. Manpower shortages have been a huge issue as they are understaffed and yet they have opened a new pod and continue to take in new residents. I realize this part is due to the times we are living in now. I think a recommendation would depend on how much care your loved one requires. This is my mother-in-law's third institution. Part of the problem is that my "helicopter" sister-in-law tries to micromanage the team. But there were some serious problems with the medication.

Wonderful
We like that it's a smaller and more quantitative facility, it's 4 buildings instead of one big mass building. It felt a lot more personalized and the ratio of staff to residents looked better. It doesn't feel like a hospital either, it has a more homey vibe.

What a beautiful installation! There are so many positives in terms of pets, the ability for residents to come and go freely on the premises, outdoor walks, a kitchen in every cottage. However, a multi-bed room leaves none of the residents privacy. If a private room was affordable it would definitely be my choice.

The cleanliness of the community is absolutely top notch. The friendliness of the staff has never been better and we have never had any problems with cleaning services. From what we understand the food is really good and they offer activities but our loved one just doesn't participate.

My opinion about the Auberge
This is a very good facility, I was able to visit this community, the staff was friendly and it was very clean. It seems that the staff is permanent and the turnover rate is lower than average for the establishment. I would recommend this establishment.

SILVERADO, LAKE ZURICH OFFERS EXCEPTIONAL CARE. The care is personal, patient and professional.
My wife has lived in Silverado for over three years. She received excellent care from 24/7 caregivers and easily accessible nurses. I enjoyed a family atmosphere that enriched our time together. Care teams invest in each person's comfort and demonstrate remarkable patience in difficult situations. Also the guards, housekeepers and drivers are friendly and always willing to help. The campus layout allows freedom for residents in and out of security - and my wife is a pedestrian! I recommend Silverado above any similar residence I have visited over the years.

Very attentive!!
When we registered at Silverado Lake Zurich we needed a spot very quickly and they dispatched the paperwork to make sure everything went smoothly. The team takes good care of my loved one and the people I work with are very caring and knowledgeable. We are happy that it is such a good place.

Tia is in good hands in this community
So far, everything is going well for the aunt with her move to this community. We are pleased with everything they have done for us. We know that she is doing well and is being very well cared for. The staff were attentive and helpful. They are doing a good job with cleaning up the community. There are good activities and good meals for its residents. This is a community I would recommend, it works well for us.

The staff are great, don't worry.
My mother was there. The staff are very helpful and attentive. I never worried about my mother. If it weren't for Silverado, I wouldn't have chosen any other facility. The high staff-to-resident ratio is very high. I wasn't the least bit worried. They took such good care of my mom and I wouldn't let her stay anywhere else. I was very involved in my mother's care and the team worked with me around the clock.

Silverado Lake Zurich is in our hometown. The community is very friendly and specializes in cultivating memories. The community is kept very clean throughout. We were very happy and it looked really good. We appreciate all the help A Place for Mom has given us!

Why You Should Choose Silverado For Your Loved Ones
Friendliness is the first thing you notice. Cleanliness is evident. Activities are varied and something is planned for each day. What was amazing for us was that they let residents take their pets with them. There is someone who trains, walks, takes care of, feeds and waters the animals. At the moment there are 3 dogs (1 is my mother's), a cat, a parrot, 2 parakeets and 4 finches. There are four one-story buildings and inside the floor plan is a square that surrounds the building. The maximum number of residents is 25 in each building. There are many employees in each building. The food is good, served on tables with real tablecloths and napkins that are changed after every meal. So far the family is happy with our choice.
